During our Basic SEO campaign we will work with members of your staff to come up with the best keywords, page descriptions and text to increase your website's search engine rank. In the process your site will be submitted to the major search engines and directories as well as Google Site Maps - a new way of telling Google about your website.
Below are the steps involved in increasing your websites search engine ranking.
Step 1
Using keywords submitted by the client we will create an initial ranking report to find out how the site ranks prior to continuing with the SEO process.
Step 2
Using a list of pages created by Link Web Design the client will write up descriptions for each page of the website. If the client wishes, Link Web Design will create the descriptions.
Step 3
Meta tags for each page of the website will be modified or created using the descriptions from step to and keywords from a variety of sources. Image ALT tags will also be modified or created.
Step 4
Link Web Design will submit a list of requests text changes to the client identifying text that should be added to help increase ranking. The client may accept or deny any and all changes.
Step 5
Upon acceptance of the changes, Link Web Design will apply them to the website. During this process links may be added using words in the text to other pages within website.
Step 6
Hand submissions to top search engines and directories.
Step 7
Submission to Google Site Maps.
Ongoing SEO Maintenance
Biweekly reports will be emailed directly to the client showing current ranking as well as comparison to the initial report created.
Keywords, page descriptions, and page text can be monitored and tweaked for an additional fee. Each time a page is tweaked the website will be resubmitted to Google Site Maps. This option is a must for those who wish to rank in the top 10 on the major search engines and stay there.
